The Radio and Television Program is designed to emphasize the importance of communication in the process of creating a modern society with the awareness that we live in the age of communication and media. Considering the developments in the world, it is based on educating the educated work force to contribute to research and studies that will exceed the level of contemporary civilization in academic and technological terms in our country.
For this purpose, by adopting the principles and reforms of Atatürk, aiming to create a higher education environment that will bring the country beyond the level of contemporary civilization, İstanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University Radio Television Programing Program, with its experienced academic staff, government agencies, private sector and non-governmental organizations, in cooperation with international standards.

In 2014- 2015, the aim of the program is to educate the personnel who have the knowledge of studio systems / technical equipment and theoretical infrastructure in order to solve the problems related to programming by transferring the fundamentals of radio and television broadcastingtothestudent.
The era we are in is called as the information age by many communicators. Since the introduction of computer technologies in the 1960s and the internet since the 1990s, internet is an indispensable part of our daily lives, and mass media are the main determinants of our lives.

As the Radio and Television Programming Program of Istanbul's Yeni Yüzyil University In the present day, when the media is called the fourth force, we aim to enable our students to gain a holistic teaching both theoretical and practical in the light of scientific knowledge and to approach all kinds of visual materials around them in a critical manner.

Our students; Throughout their 2-year education and training life, take courses including theory and practice on radio TV broadcasting, audio and video techniques, fiction theories and techniques, camera-front acting, documentary cinema, short film and photography. In addition to our vocational courses, our students can also choose non-field courses.

Radio TV Programming Program, 4 semesters (2-year) as a curriculum in the course of theoretical knowledge, as well as the application skills to ensure the acquisition is planned. In the 1st and 2nd semesters; In the 3rd and 4th semesters, emphasis was placed on practical courses to increase their professional skills. Thus, at the end of 4 semesters, our students will be able to work as technical experts. In order to graduate, students who are studying in this program must have a minimum GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00. The minimum ECTS for graduation is 120. Students are also required to complete their compulsory internship in the specified time and period. Students may enroll in the English Preparatory Program upon request.

During their education, students may have the opportunity to take double diplomas by participating in Double Major programs in another department or program, provided that they fulfill their requirements. Likewise, students may have the right to receive a second certificate in a second area by participating in the mel Minor Program program in another department or program, provided that they meet the requirements. In addition, during the course of their education, our students have the opportunity to study for one or two semesters in many European countries within the framework of Erasmus Program. In the same way, our academicians use this program to teach internationally, exchange information and represent our university in foreign countries.

Graduated students can take the vertical exam and pass to different departments such as Media and Communication Systems, Radio and Television, Cinema and Television, Television Journalism and Programming, Visual Communication Design, Press and Publication, Photography and Video, New Media in communication faculties of universities. Students who graduate from Radio TV Program program; they can work in newspapers, radio and television channels, and especially in companies that operate on the internet today.

The events and conferences organized regularly within the university, our students will also have the opportunity to meet with the professionals of their fields and to participate in seminars that will support them in their personal development issues.
