The Yeni Yuzyil University Center for Teaching Turkish to Foreigners (YUTOM), which aims to teach Turkish to those who seek to learn Turkish for different reasons, including students who come to Turkey for undergraduate and graduate education at our university, started providing education in the 2016-2017 academic year in line with these goals.
By adopting the most up-to-date techniques, methods and approaches with our well-equipped and expert academic staff, at YUTOM we provide training at levels of beginner (A1-A2), intermediate (B1-B2) and advanced (C1) within the framework of the European Language Portfolio with consideration to the development of four skills: reading, listening, writing, and speaking.
The aims of the training (education) we offer as YÜTÖM are as follows:
To provide Turkish education to students who want to study in Turkey at a level that they can meet their needs in both their daily and academic lives.
To ensure that students living and continuing to live in Turkey can use Turkish at a level where they can facilitate their social lives and improve their communication skills.
To introduce Turkish culture with organized trips and activities, and to teach Turkish as a whole without breaking it out of its context.
We would like to thank our academic and administrative staff who work devotedly within the framework of our goals and objectives, and wish success to all our students who want to learn Turkish.
