Master’s Program In Orthodontics With Or Without Thesis (Language Is In English)

Orthodontics Master's Program aims to provide qualified education in undergraduate and graduate levels, to offer high quality diagnosis and treatment service in the Department of Orthodontics and to produce / publish scientific research in the field of Orthodontics.


Scope Of The Graduate (Md) Program In Orthodontics

The Orthodontic master's program with or without thesis covers theoretical courses and practical applications. The Orthodontic program with thesis is 4 semesters and the program is completed at most 6 semesters. Orthodontics Master's program without thesis is completed in at least 2 semesters and at most 3 semesters. The main lines of practical applications are; to teach the use and application of removable appliances, wire bending and acrylic construction, to teach basic wire bending and fixed mechanics before moving to fixed techniques, to teach use of fixed techniques (from patient diagnosis / treatment planning to consolidation phase). Literature / seminar programs and case discussion meetings are arranged 2 days a week.


Compulsory and elective courses and total number of credits required for master's degree:

A minimum of 30 ECTS per semester is required to obtain a master's degree in orthodontics. The master's program consists of compulsory and elective courses, at least 2 seminars and master thesis. Details about training program are in the appendix.
