In our country, specialization in the field of Occupational Health and Safety has gained importance in parallel with the legislation and sectoral sanctions in the field of Occupational Health and Safety, and our Institute is one of the pioneers of specialization in this field with its Postgraduate Programs in the field of Occupational Health and Safety launched in 2011.
With the dynamics that are still developing and changing, Occupational Health and Safety Specialization is one of the programs that will provide attractive and different visions not only for graduates who will work as experts, but also for new generation students graduating from engineering faculties of universities.
Postgraduate studies in the field of Occupational Health and Safety can be done in two ways as “Master's Degree without Thesis and Master's Degree with Thesis”. In both programs, basic occupational health and safety courses are given for undergraduate students from different disciplines. The aim of the theoretical courses is to provide basic scientific courses with newly developing and changing approaches for our country. The program is enriched with courses from disciplines such as Occupational Health and Safety, Law, Health and Engineering, and the elective courses aim to deepen in the areas of specialization.
In our Institute, which has the widest range of specialized studies in the field of “Master's Degree with Thesis” with ongoing thesis studies, scientific thesis studies have been and are being carried out in many different fields such as Mining, Construction, Working at Height, Materials, Confined Spaces, Logistics, Natural Gas, Chemistry, Biological Risks, Wastes, Traffic, Infrastructure, Office Studies, Hospitals, Schools, Energy and Sustainability, Ergonomics, Emergency (Fire, etc.), Education Modeling with Occupational Health and Safety section.
Aiming to enrich the scientific basis of Occupational Health and Safety with the diversity in academic studies, our graduate programs are unique, in dynamic relationship with the sector and multidisciplinary.
