Program Description:

The program language is "Turkish".

The program aims to provide students with basic information on reproductive and developmental biology in the field of Histology and Embryology and their applications in medicine and scientific research.

Students who complete the program: In addition to having the knowledge and experience to work in Embryology and Andrology Laboratories in "Assisted Reproductive Treatment Centers", it is aimed to continue their careers in the Departments of Histology and Embryology. They will have the right to apply to the relevant training centers to receive the embryologist certificate required to work as an embryology Laboratory Manager." With the information they gain in this program, candidates can work in laboratories where cell culture and stem cell studies are conducted.

The thesis-based master's program is four semesters long. The first two provide students with theoretical and practical courses in laboratories. The last two are for completing and writing the thesis.

Graduates of Medicine, Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Health Sciences, and Veterinary Faculties who want to pursue careers in these fields and have at least a bachelor's degree can participate.

High-pressure liquid chromatography, polymerase chain reaction device, Atomic absorption device, spectrophotometer (2 units), electrophoresis tank systems (5 units), water bath (5 units), non- refrigerated centrifuge (5 units), refrigerated centrifuge (1 unit), fume hood (2 units), laminar flow (2 units), vortex mixer (4 units), laboratory balance (4 units), heating plate, light microscope, -80 ° C deep freezer (1 unit), autoclave (1 unit), shaking incubator (1 unit), incubator/oven (5 units), pH meter (2 units). In addition, a second autoclave, fluorescent microscope, liquid nitrogen tank, carbon dioxide tube, pH meter, nanodrop/microplate quality spectrophotometer, coarse balance, and precision balance devices are currently in the purchasing phase.

Qualifications of our students who graduate from the Clinical Embryology Master's Program:

Our students who graduate from the Clinical Embryology Master's Program will have expert knowledge in the field of Clinical Embryology when they take courses on the standard anatomical/histological structure of the male and female reproductive systems, embryonal development of these organs, developmental stages of germ cells, monitoring of these cells and embryos in a laboratory environment and the development process of the embryo and write a thesis on reproductive biology.

During the training, they learned about the operation of assisted reproduction treatment centers, gained knowledge about clinical and laboratory services, and learned the ability to conduct embryology and andrology laboratory studies. They will have the knowledge and skills to work in a research laboratory under scientific, human, and animal ethics.

They learn how to reach innovation by following scientific articles and presenting studies correctly and effectively without plagiarism by acting ethically about planning and execution in individual or team studies.

Students who complete the Clinical Embryology Master's program and want to continue their academic careers can continue their doctoral programs in histology, embryology, and reproductive biology.

Participation Conditions for the Clinical Embryology Thesis Master's Program:

• Having completed the program application form,

• Having completed a 4-year undergraduate education in the specified departments,

• Having deposited the tuition fee determined by our Institute Board to our University's Revolving Fund under the specified conditions,
