Nihan Bora, who works as an editor in various digital media publications, shared his experiences in journalism with the students of Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University, as part of the Faculty of Communication Seminars.

Nihan Bora, who has made news and interviews for publications such as Bianet.org, Time Out Istanbul, Istanbul Art News, Art Unlimited, in addition to her personal news-heavy blog page, touched on the opportunities provided by new media to access information, follow the news, disseminate and briefly communicate. Emphasized that the students were in a very fortunate period in terms of the benefits provided by this new technology and made recommendations for them to train themselves in this field.

At the end of the seminar, which was followed with interest by the students, the Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Resul İzmirli presented a certificate of appreciation.

Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University, Faculty of Communication, Department of New Media and Communication, 1st grade students visited Yeni Çağ Publishing Group with their faculty members. The students had the opportunity to follow the journalism profession, which they will take steps in the future, on the field and also received information from the newspaper management about their work. Students, Dr. Lecturer Kemal Aslan, Dr. Lecturer Yücel Sarı and Research Assistant Sevil Bektaş visited the editorial units of Yeniçağ, Günboyu and Dokuzsütun newspapers under the supervision of Durmuş. Ahmet Yabuloğlu, CEO of Yeni Çağ Publishing Group, General Manager of Yeniçağ Newspaper, Hasan Balaban, Editor-in-Chief Hayri Köklü and Editor-in-Chief Zeki Efe explained to the young people in detail all the stages, including the preparation of news from the page design and the printing of the newspaper.
